About Me
Beyond the code.
I’m a full-stack web developer with a background in mathematics and a career spent mostly building things for the web. PHP has been my home base for much of that time, but I’ve always enjoyed picking up new tools when a project gives me a reason to.
What I enjoy most about development is the problem solving. I like taking something complicated, figuring out how the pieces fit together, and turning it into something that feels simple to the person using it. That curiosity has also pulled me further into data and analytics, where I get to approach problems from a different angle while putting my math background back to work.
Away from the keyboard, I’m a sports fan—especially soccer—and the kind of person who can lose an unreasonable amount of time digging into statistics, history, or whatever else has caught my attention that week. Things that affect my mood way more than they should include Liverpool Football Club, the Denver Broncos, and the Pittsburgh Penguins.
I’m always looking for the next interesting problem to solve, whether that means building a web application, making sense of a dataset, or learning something completely new.
